Flexa makes it to the Scandanavia Show for Kids

Flexa UK attended the first ever Scandinavia kids Show at Olympia Exhibition Centre in London on 9th and 10th October. The Children show was run by Scan Magazine and sponsored by The Daily Telegraph. The purpose of the event was to provide a show case for all things Scandinavian and as Flexa is Danish it was appropriate we were there.

Flexa sponsored the children’s furniture and cinema area providing all the bean bags, carpets and cushions the children needed to relax on, and of course jump about on. We had a great event with clowns doing shows and sporadic visits from Vikings telling stories of old legends and Norse Gods. Some of the stories seemed a little scary for the average age of our visitors but no one burst into tears.

Many of the mums and dads took the opportunity to pick up the new brochure and take advantage of the show discount. The new jungle and butterfly room themes created a great deal of interest as did the all new children’s furniture ranges with the coloured fronts in blue and lilac.

The show was very well attended with over 6,000 people visiting over the two days. At times it seemed as though at least half of them were children. It was noticed that children had fun with Flexa furniture, balloons and baseball but the very professional show staff coped well handing out more Flexa balloons and baseball caps than we could count. We even had four of the models from the fashion show wandering around in Flexa baseball caps at one point.

We will certainly be supporting this show next year when we’ll take along a mid-high slide bed or two to try and wear out the more boisterous children!
